About The Position

This role at Wild Sea Restaurant encompasses multiple functions including Server, Host, and Busser/Food Runner. The primary responsibility is to serve meals to patrons in a dining establishment, ensuring adherence to established service standards and maintaining an orderly flow of customer traffic. The position requires excellent customer relations skills, prompt and accurate order taking, and efficient service delivery. Additionally, the role involves setting up and breaking down the dining room, maintaining stocked sections, and handling guest checks. For the Host function, duties include greeting guests, escorting them to tables, presenting menus, answering the restaurant phone, and managing reservations. As a Food Runner/Busser, responsibilities include maintaining a clean and presentable appearance, supplying the station with necessary items, serving beverages, clearing tables, assisting wait staff, resetting tables promptly, and delivering Room Service orders.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge guests within 90 seconds of seating.
Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
Take order promptly and properly to relay orders to kitchen and service bars when necessary.
Serve courses from kitchen and service bars using correct service procedures.
Observe diners to attend any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
Settle guest checks and turn in all checks at the end of shift with a report for Accounting.
Set up dining room with clean and polished equipment.
Maintain a presentable and fully stocked section throughout the dining period.
Complete all closing duties, including proper breakdown of dining room.
Greet guest.
Escort guest to tables.
Present menus.
Answer the Indigo Restaurant phone promptly and courteously.
Receive, enter, and confirm Reservations for the restaurant.
Always appear clean, polished, and presentable when interfacing with Guests.
Maintain proper attire and service standards throughout guest experience.
Supply assigned station with all items needed for daily operation.
Serve water, coffee, juice, and other beverages as well as their refills.
Clear extra place settings at the table.
Assist wait staff when necessary.
Complete all closing side work properly.
Bussers must completely reset all dirty tables within three minutes of the Guest departure.
Food Runners deliver all Room Service orders according to Minimum Standard requirements.
Performs any other duties assigned by Manager.
