This position assists the Restaurant Manager (RM) with daily operations of the restaurant and supervises the team in their absence. The Restaurant Assistant Manager (RAM) leads and coaches Restaurant Team Members and partners with the management team to maintain the Company and Brand operational standards ensuring all guests leave satisfied. The RAM provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner, coaches and corrects the team, conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads, and maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties. They assign shift duties to team members and follow up on completion, direct the team to ensure food items are prepared and served according to regulations, and coach team members on food preparation guidelines. The RAM also cascades relevant information, assists with new product training, places campaign materials, ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met. They monitor and ensure accuracy of cash, sales, and inventory control records, complete end of shift and end of day paperwork, and communicate discrepancies. In the absence of the RM, the RAM handles daily, weekly, and end of period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative duties. They guarantee a safe environment for team members and guests, complete incident reports, and partner with the RM to ensure financial and operational metrics are met for a profitable restaurant, while living the Company values of One Team, Do the Right Thing, Takes Ownership, and Play to Win.
