About The Position

The Restaurant Assistant General Manager partners with the Restaurant Managing Partner to ensure seamless day-to-day restaurant operations and maintain an unwavering commitment to excellence. As a brand ambassador and second in charge, this role upholds company standards, oversees cost centers, and creates memorable experiences for guests and team members. The Assistant General Manager champions the restaurant’s culture, supports continuous improvement, and embraces Red Robin’s “better for being here” mentality. This is a leadership role in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. The position offers opportunities to grow with the company and includes eligibility for an uncapped restaurant bonus program and referral bonuses, subject to applicable qualifications and requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
At least 2 years of management experience.
Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable transportation.
Strong communication and exceptional leadership skills.
Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a passionate team dedicated to execution, hospitality, and service.
Strong P&L knowledge.
Ability to obtain certifications or permits required by state or local law.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of local and state health codes.
Experience with Workday, Aloha, NBO, and Hot Schedules.
Experience managing a team.
