Restaurant Assistant General Manager
About The Position
Shake Shack is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to lead and develop team members while helping deliver high-quality food and hospitality. The role oversees restaurant operations, including inventory, quality and safety protocols, payroll, scheduling, and financial performance. It also promotes the brand in the local community and supports compliance with health and safety codes. The position offers hands-on mentorship, training, and opportunities for growth in a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Requirements
- At least 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.
- Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Shack operations.
- Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members.
- Strong leadership skills focused on coaching and achieving excellence.
- Knowledge of all financial aspects of business operations.
- At least 3 years of P&L responsibilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
