About The Position
This role is for one of our clients. We are seeking experienced professionals from the UK restaurant and hospitality industry to participate in a paid research project focused on restaurant operations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and hospitality technology platforms. The project aims to gather insights from industry experts regarding operational challenges, technology adoption, purchasing decisions, and market dynamics within the UK restaurant sector. This is a fully remote, project-based consulting opportunity involving expert interviews with a leading research client.
Requirements
- Strong experience within the UK restaurant and hospitality sector.
- Recent exposure to restaurant technology selection, deployment, or management is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of restaurant operations, POS systems, and hospitality technology ecosystems.
- Ability to provide strategic insights based on practical industry experience.
- Experience overseeing operations for multi-site restaurant groups (Profile 1).
- Experience as an Owner or Senior Operator for small restaurant businesses (1-5 Locations) (Profile 2).
- Leadership experience within restaurant technology or POS solution providers (Profile 3).
- Experience in product strategy, commercial leadership, go-to-market planning, or market development within hospitality technology organizations (Profile 3).
Nice To Haves
- Led the evaluation, selection, or implementation of POS systems and broader restaurant technology solutions (Profile 1).
- Experience with Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Fast Casual Concepts, Cafés and Coffee Chains, Pubs and Hospitality Venues, Delivery-First or Digital-First Restaurants (Profile 2).
- Experience in pricing structures and business models within restaurant technology (Profile 3).
- Knowledge of product strengths, limitations, and differentiation (Profile 3).
- Understanding of customer segmentation and buying behavior (Profile 3).
- Familiarity with sales motions and market trends in UK restaurant technology (Profile 3).
