Rest & Recovery Specialist (fill-in)
About The Position
HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is a leader in providing fitness solutions that engage and connect people both on-site and online, to create a strong community of health. The Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a fill-in, Rest & Recovery Specialist in Bentonville, AR to create a welcoming, rejuvenating experience for members. In this role, you’ll guide guests through recovery technologies, support Rest & Recharge services, and ensure a high-quality environment. This role is the first impression of guests seeking to relax and rejuvenate.
Requirements
- High School diploma and 1+ years’ experience in the health and wellness field.
- Demonstrated commitment to a health-related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years’ related industry experience.
- CPR, First Aid and AED certification through the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
- Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and other software.

- Experience in massage therapy, recovery, stretching, etc.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the delivery of services and all related equipment and direct member programs in the Rest and Recharge department.
- Demonstrates and guides guests through multiple recovery technologies for a quality experience.
- Oversees recovery suite areas – both complimentary and paid services; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
- Provides direct program services in a variety of areas (e.g., cryotherapy, treatment, hydrotherapy, compression, red light, etc.).
- May assist with marketing and communication.
- Assists with Whole Health programming.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
