About The Position

Tresco is hiring a part-time Rest Area Worker in Radium Springs, New Mexico. Under supervision and with clear direction, the worker helps maintain the rest area’s cleanliness and safety in accordance with the state contract. The role involves working independently and with a team, assisting travelers, and staying active, including working outdoors. The schedule is Sunday through Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and the pay is $15.50 per hour. The position is open until filled.

Requirements

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort working outdoors and staying active throughout the day.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state-issued ID.
• Must pass a background check and driver's license record check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and restock restrooms, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all buildings and grounds.
• Assist the public with a friendly, helpful attitude when needed.
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow the daily schedule and attend team meetings.
• Work on special projects when assigned.
• Communicate openly and respectfully with the supervisor and co-workers.
