The Rest Area Attendant is responsible for performing all contract requirements within the state time frames and ensures that the rest areas meet or exceed the standards set forth by TDOT. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety of rest area facilities, including restrooms, foyers, parking lots, and grounds. The attendant must also ensure supplies are stocked, report necessary repairs, and adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures. Additionally, attendants are expected to promote a positive work environment, comply with company policies and government regulations, and take measures to prevent vandalism, theft, and accidents.
