About The Position

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking a Quality Leader in Product Development Processes to join our Engineering Quality team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). In this role, you will work closely with our Engineering Quality counterparts based in Europe. You will be part of the Engineering Quality team—a group of specialists dedicated to supporting engineering teams, ensuring they adhere to established processes and design products that meet the highest standards of quality and maturity. You will collaborate with business partners in a multi-functional environment and play a key role in ensuring the rigorous application of Quality processes and standards throughout the entire Development Cycle.

Requirements

You possess an Engineering degree or a Master’s degree in engineering or a relevant technical field.
You have at least 10 years of experience in the aerospace sector.
You have significant experience in requirements cascading processes, as well as their validation and verification.
You have solid knowledge of process analysis and optimization.
You possess the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and promote a culture of operational excellence.
You have a committed and persevering mindset to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong listening and negotiation skills, and you are comfortable working on cross-functional projects in an international context.
You possess an excellent command of both French and English, both written and spoken (bilingualism).

Responsibilities

Ensure a thorough understanding and application of aerospace product development processes.
Ensure strict adherence to Verification & Validation (V&V) processes.
Implement tools for monitoring and tracking adherence, including systematic gap analysis.
Ensure that process deliverables meet the required maturity and quality standards.
Establish a Quality Assurance system for development processes.
Guarantee process compliance by implementing a control and monitoring system, specifically for V&V requirements management and the quality of means of compliance.
Deploy and utilize the quality framework to continuously improve adherence to design processes.
Promote the implementation of design review readiness sessions with engineering teams to ensure higher maturity of documentation and analysis during key design milestones.
