About The Position

Provide respite support to a child and family in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role offers after-school hours and occasional weekends and pays $14.13 per hour. The provider will help the child with daily routines, meal preparation, activities, emotional regulation, and potential community outings, while building a positive, trusting relationship. The position is recruited through Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN), but CDCN is not the legal employer of record. If hired, the Member or their Managing Party is the legal employer and has sole authority to hire or dismiss the Direct Care Worker.

Requirements

• Be flexible, patient, dependable, and caring.
• Be able to serve as both an observer and a coach.
• Provide structure, guidance, and meaningful engagement.
• Foster a collaborative environment by mentoring and learning alongside the child.

Nice To Haves

• An interest in arts and crafts, BMX biking, roller skating, swimming, or Legos may align with the child's interests.

Responsibilities

• Help with meal preparation and cooking.
