About The Position

Consumer Direct Care Network is recruiting a Respite Provider to support a child and family in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The provider will help the child remain engaged and supported at home and potentially during community outings, while building a positive, trusting relationship. The role calls for a kind, patient, dependable, flexible, and fun person who can offer structure, guidance, encouragement, and meaningful engagement. The provider is expected to be both an observer and a coach, and to foster a collaborative environment by mentoring and learning alongside the child. The schedule is after-school hours with occasional weekends. Pay is $14.13 per hour. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, that party—not Consumer Direct Care Network—will be the legal employer and will have sole authority to hire or dismiss the provider.

Responsibilities

• Help with meal preparation and cooking.
• Assist with daily care routines, such as brushing teeth.

• Help the child regulate emotions and behaviors through patience, support, and encouragement.
• Build a positive, trusting relationship with the child.
• Provide structure, guidance, and meaningful engagement to help channel the child's energy productively.
