About The Position

Consumer Direct Care Network is recruiting a part-time respite companion to support a young boy in the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area. The role provides companionship, supervision, and attentive care while helping create enjoyable and meaningful experiences at home and in the community. The Member or their Managing Party would be the legal employer of record if hired; Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting and does not make hiring or dismissal decisions.

The schedule is 20 hours per week: Sunday 1 p.m.–4 p.m.; Tuesday 1 p.m.–5 p.m.; Wednesday 1 p.m.–5 p.m.; Friday 1 p.m.–4 p.m.; and Saturday 12 p.m.–6 p.m. The hourly pay is $14.13.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a caregiver background check.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, companionship, and supervision.
• Participate in community outings, such as Action City, 4 Treasures, and other activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide attentive care and companionship.
• Assist with feeding and supervision.
• Help make everyday activities enjoyable and engaging.
