About The Position

A part-time respite companion is needed in the Eau Claire area to support a lively young boy. The role provides companionship, supervision, and attentive care, while helping create fun and meaningful experiences and enabling the member to remain in their own home as long as possible. Activities include community outings, meal preparation, assistance with feeding, and making everyday activities enjoyable and engaging.

The schedule is 20 hours per week: Sunday, 1 p.m.–4 p.m. (3 hours); Tuesday, 1 p.m.–5 p.m. (4 hours); Wednesday, 1 p.m.–5 p.m. (4 hours); Friday, 1 p.m.–4 p.m. (3 hours); and Saturday, noon–6 p.m. (6 hours). If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, that party—not Consumer Direct Care Network—will be the legal employer and has sole authority to hire or dismiss the worker. Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a caregiver background check.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is a plus but is not required.
