About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist provides compassionate respiratory care to chronic, critically ill patients recovering from intensive care in an inpatient critical illness recovery hospital. The role involves treating patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions and supporting their extended healing and recovery. The position is full-time on day shifts in Plano, Texas, with compensation of $32.69–$44.00 per hour based on years of experience. Requirements

• Hold an active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), or a state equivalent.
• Provide proof of graduation: a college transcript or diploma is preferred; a high school transcript or diploma, or GED, is also accepted.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the start date.
• Hold current state licensure.
• Obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire. Agency RTs must have ACLS before their first shift, and PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire.

• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
