About The Position

This is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) contract position supporting a multi-campus health system in Massachusetts. The primary assignment is at the Nashoba campus in Groton, a freestanding emergency room where the therapist will primarily work independently. The position may require floating, with advance notice, to the Marlborough, University (Worcester), and Memorial (Worcester) campuses. The primary shift is expected to be at Nashoba at least two shifts per week. The position provides adult critical care and pediatric care, including care for pediatric tracheostomy patients, and uses Epic for charting. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Only applicants available for the posted start time will be considered.

Requirements

Massachusetts RRT license; applicants may apply for the license within 24 hours of an offer.
ACLS certification.
BLS certification.
Two to three years of experience.
Adult critical care experience.
Pediatric experience, including experience with pediatric tracheostomy patients.
Level I experience.
Proficiency with Epic charting.
Ability to work independently in a freestanding emergency room.
Ability to float between multiple campuses.
Availability for weekend and holiday coverage.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Flu vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions and declinations allowed.

Nice To Haves

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

Work independently as an RRT at the Nashoba freestanding emergency room.
Float between up to four campuses as required, with at least two shifts per week expected at Nashoba.
Provide adult critical care and pediatric care, including care for pediatric tracheostomy patients.
Use Epic for charting.
Cover weekends on an every-other-weekend/every-other-holiday basis and provide holiday coverage.
