RRT or CRT Full Time Day Shift
About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist assesses, treats, and monitors patients with respiratory diseases and conditions. This includes delivering medicated and non-medicated therapies as ordered by a provider and providing invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilator support for acute respiratory failure. The therapist performs diagnostic test procedures as part of patient assessment and management, and assists with departmental operations, including quality improvement projects, equipment, and supplies. The certified therapist follows applicable rules and regulations established by the licensure board in the state where respiratory therapy is practiced.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Hold a current Kentucky Respiratory Care license.
- Be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
