RRT or CRT Full Time Day Shift
About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist assesses, treats, and monitors patients with respiratory diseases and conditions. The role delivers medicated and non-medicated therapies as ordered by providers and provides invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilator support for acute respiratory failure. The therapist performs diagnostic test procedures as part of patient assessment and management, and assists with departmental operations, including quality improvement projects and equipment and supply needs. Certified therapists follow applicable rules and regulations established by the licensure board in the state where they practice.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Current Kentucky Respiratory Care license.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
