About The Position

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform pre- and post-albuterol spirometry testing at primary care clinics in the Greensboro and Winston-Salem areas. The positions are expected to begin in January 2027, with onboarding and training in November and December 2026. The role offers a flexible weekday schedule of 1–3 days per week as a 1099 contractor, with competitive daily pay and clinical independence supported by a collaborative team.

Crosswalk Health brings guideline-based pulmonary diagnostics directly into primary care clinics to help patients receive earlier diagnoses and make specialty respiratory care more accessible, particularly in rural and underserved communities. Team members contribute to the company’s expanding model of pulmonary care and represent Crosswalk Health to patients and clinic partners.

Requirements

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.
• Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to support accurate, high-quality test results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health professionally and compassionately.
