About The Position

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple pre- and post-albuterol spirometry testing at primary care clinics in the Louisville, Kentucky, and New Albany, Indiana, areas. This is a 1099 contractor role with flexible scheduling of one to five days per week and a Monday–Friday daytime schedule. The role offers competitive daily pay of $245–$300, clinical independence, and collaboration with a supportive team. Crosswalk Health brings guideline-based spirometry into primary care clinics through a technology-enabled model intended to support earlier diagnoses and make specialty respiratory care more accessible, particularly in rural and underserved communities. Requirements

Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.
Comfort commuting to clinics throughout a region.
Availability to work a flexible schedule.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
Educate and coach patients to support accurate, high-quality test results.
Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients during testing.
Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health professionally and compassionately.
