About The Position

Crosswalk Health is hiring credentialed respiratory therapists and pulmonary function technologists to perform pre- and post-albuterol spirometry testing at primary care clinics in the Louisville, Kentucky, and New Albany, Indiana, areas. The role involves traveling to local clinics, coaching and educating patients, administering albuterol safely when indicated, monitoring patients, and preparing test results for pulmonologist review. The position offers a flexible weekday schedule of one to five days per week and is a 1099 contractor role. The listed pay is $245–$300 per day.

Requirements

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.
• Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to support accurate, high-quality test results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients during testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health professionally and compassionately.
