About The Position

This is a full-time, day shift position for a Respiratory Therapist. The role requires a graduate of an accredited school of respiratory services. The therapist must be licensed to practice in Indiana, be a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and hold current BLS/CPR certification. While experience is preferred, it is not required. The position demands attention to detail, precision in patient identification and medication administration, and the ability to handle the stress of critical situations. The therapist will frequently assist in patient care decisions and involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, running, bending, and positioning patients. It also requires pushing, moving, and lifting respiratory therapy equipment, and the ability to transfer patients with or without assistance.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of respiratory services.
Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Indiana.
Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Attention to detail.
Precision in patient identification and medication administration.
Ability to withstand the stress of life and death situations.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, run, bend at the waist.
Ability to position patients correctly to receive therapy.
Ability to push, move, and lift various pieces of respiratory therapy equipment.
Ability to transfer a patient alone or with assistance.
