About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist delivers competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. Care is delivered with a team orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment, and appropriate decision-making that takes evidence-based practice into consideration.

This position is based at the Medical Center in Fort Worth and works the third shift for 36 standard weekly hours. Cook Children’s is a Texas-only employer; employees must maintain their primary residence in Texas and retain the licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited two- or four-year respiratory therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Current license to practice in the State of Texas.
• Current BLS certification.
• Maintain primary residence within Texas and all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.
