About The Position

This position is located at University Hospitals East and involves providing all types of diagnostic and therapeutic therapy procedures throughout the medical complex for adults and neonates. The Respiratory Therapist will administer all types of respiratory therapy treatments, evaluate the appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy, and assess patients to determine and recommend appropriate therapy to the physician.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited two or four year school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Must comply with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board licensure guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide all types of diagnostic and therapeutic therapy procedures throughout the medical complex for adults and neonates.
• Administer all types of respiratory therapy treatments.
• Evaluate appropriateness of physician ordered therapy.
• Assess patients to determine appropriate therapy and recommend the same to the physician.
