About The Position
Performs assessments on Pediatric and Neonatal units, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patient and family education in those areas.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited school in Respiratory Therapy
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal or Pediatric Respiratory care, or successful completion of department-specific orientation, including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Upon Hire
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners. Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
- ACLS Upon Hire
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Upon Hire
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Upon Hire
- Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
Nice To Haves
- Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
