About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist administers pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures. These procedures support treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitation, or diagnostic regimens prescribed by a physician. The role includes assessing, observing, and monitoring patients’ signs and symptoms, general behavior, and physical responses to respiratory care treatments and diagnostic testing.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of respiratory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program with a diploma or AAS degree.
• Licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice in Arkansas.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
• Current BLS certification, or obtain it within 7 days of hire.

• ACLS.
