About The Position

IntelliChoice Home Care is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory services and support clinical teams in delivering patient care in patients’ homes. The role includes direct patient care, respiratory assessments, education and training for nursing and clinical staff, and monitoring patients’ respiratory needs. The therapist will work alongside the Clinical Director of Respiratory Services to support patient outcomes and ensure services meet quality and regulatory standards.

This is a salaried position with a Monday–Friday schedule described as approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role requires travel within surrounding territories for approximately 75% of the time; travel reimbursement is provided. The position also includes manageable caseloads and on-call duties. IntelliChoice describes itself as a family-owned company with a close-knit, collaborative culture.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Current North Carolina Respiratory Therapist license.
• At least one year of professional respiratory therapy experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, DME, or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification and TB screening.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organizational, teaching, and clinical skills.
• Enjoys teamwork, helping others succeed, and making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy, assessments, and direct patient care.
• Support and educate nursing and clinical teams on respiratory care.
• Assist with respiratory training, competencies, and clinical education.
• Monitor patients’ respiratory needs and communicate changes to the care team.
• Ensure respiratory services meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Work alongside the Clinical Director of Respiratory Services to support excellent patient outcomes.
