About The Position

Doctors Hospital of Laredo is a 183-bed acute care facility in Laredo, Texas. The Respiratory Therapist provides safe, competent, and ethical respiratory and cardiology care to patients and provides leadership and direction to employees with less training.

Requirements

• A minimum of a two-year associate degree, or preferably a four-year baccalaureate degree, from a school or training program accredited by CoARC or its predecessor JRCRTE, or by CAAHEP.
• CRT required.
• RRT certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• Texas respiratory care license required.
• BLS required.
• NRP required within six months of hire if working in the NICU.

Nice To Haves

• A four-year baccalaureate degree is preferred over the minimum two-year associate degree.
• ACLS optional.
• PALS optional.
