Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem
About The Position
Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a per diem Respiratory Therapist to join its patient-care team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation for people recovering from life-altering injuries and illnesses, including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and other complex medical conditions. Its interdisciplinary team provides personalized rehabilitation services in a modern, Joint Commission-accredited facility. Requirements
- Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Good judgment, initiative, problem-solving, decision-making, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection-control standards.
Nice To Haves
- One year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with breathing disorders.
- Perform laboratory functions.
- Assume primary responsibility for respiratory care treatments.
