Pima Medical Institute is hiring a Respiratory Therapy Instructor (RRT). Your role and Impact: Educate & Demonstrate: Deliver lectures and lead labs, using your clinical experience to prepare students for real-world scenarios. Drive Student Success: Maintain an 80% student success rate by monitoring progress, mentoring at-risk students, and reducing course withdrawals. Curriculum Implementation: Execute lesson plans aligned with program objectives, integrating guest speakers and field trips to enhance learning. Student Mentorship: Advise students on curriculum paths and coordinate externship opportunities to bridge the gap between school and clinical practice. Compliance & Administration: Maintain accurate grades and attendance records, and ensure all activities meet accreditation standards. What you bring to Pima Medical Institute: Credentials: Active RRT and State RCP license. Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting. (Teaching experience is preferred, but a passion for education is essential). Education: Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree). Requirements

  • Active RRT and State RCP license.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree).
