About The Position

The Registered Respiratory Therapist II provides patient assessment and patient care for all pulmonary patients at BronxCare Health System. This key clinical position supports the efforts of the cardiopulmonary physicians and staff providing respiratory care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• New York State Registration as Respiratory Therapists
• Formal Training required
• One to three (1-3) years’ experience as Registered Respiratory Therapists in a hospital setting
• Equivalent experience with patients and demonstrated Respiratory Therapy Competencies
• Skills with Nasal Cannula, Vent mask, Face Tent, Aerosol masks, Trach collar and Humidifier, Continuous Mechanical Ventilators
