About The Position
Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy modalities and respiratory assessments to patients of all ages in all patient care areas, excluding critical care, NICU, and Labor & Delivery. Performs responsibilities independently and without supervision except as necessary during orientation or training.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Technician/Therapist program.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department and provide the care/service as described in the department policies and procedures.
- Current State of Nevada Practitioner of Respiratory Care license.
- Current State of Respiratory Care license.
- Current State of Nevada Blood Gas Technologist, Blood Gas Assistant, or General Supervisor license.
- Must have applied for Blood Gas License and receive within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
