The Cleveland Clinic Respiratory Institute combines comprehensive care with innovative research and education. With more than 170 Pulmonologists, Immunologists and other specialists, our staff diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of disorders for 200,000 patients annually. As a Respiratory Supervisor II on this team, you will oversee your designated Respiratory Care Unit, ensuring caregivers perform the exceptional work for which our hospitals are renowned. You will focus on essential management tasks, such as performance evaluations, budget reviews, policy updates and regulatory compliance, to drive our enterprise forward in delivering world-class, unmatched healthcare. You will also perform respiratory care, supporting patients in the ICU, Emergency Department and other high-acuity areas requiring advanced respiratory care. Your efforts will help promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. This position offers exposure to advanced respiratory therapies and technologies, including mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, airway management and specialty respiratory procedures. This academic medical center environment provides opportunities to support research, education and interdisciplinary collaboration. A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM, including 4-hours of remote admin work per week.
