Respiratory Student Technician
About The Position
Under general supervision, technicians maintain, clean and deliver equipment as necessary for patient care. Technician will perform other related duties to support patient care activities within the limits of established policies and procedures. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Must be enrolled in a Respiratory Program approved by CoArc (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care).
- Ability to work with others, follow instructions, and prioritize work needs.
- Ability to learn and use new processes, tools and equipment as required.
Nice To Haves
- Six months training or experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains, services, and repairs medical equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance, cleaning, or adjusting of equipment.
- Delivers equipment as necessary for patient care.
- Performs other related duties to support patient care activities within the limits of established policies and procedures.
