About The Position

This position is for an Adult RRT at the Ashley River Tower. The role involves working 3x12hr shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with required holidays. Orientation will be conducted on dayshift. The clinician will be required to work every other weekend and may be called upon to float within scope to the Main Hospital's adult population, adhering to the same policies, equipment, and charting requirements. Emergency team activation as required is also a part of the role. The patient population includes Cardiovascular ICU, Postop Cardiac, Thoracic, & Complex Vascular Surgery Patients, Heart & Lung Transplant, Durable LVAD, Temporary Mechanical Circulatory Support, ECMO, IABP, & Impella, Complex Cardiology Patient, Post Cardiac arrest, Acute Myocardial Infarction, Decompensated Heart Failure, Medical-Surgical ICU patients with ARDS, Septic Shock, Hematologic & Oncologic Emergencies, GI Hemorrhage, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Perforated Viscous.

Requirements

At least 2 years of Critical Care Experience
NBRC RRT cert
BLS certification
ACLS certification
NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) certification/licenses accepted
RRT Adult critical care experience
RRT SC license must be in hand at time of start
All RTO must be included at time of submission
Must not have a problem with being assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November).

Responsibilities
