About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for its diverse patient population. The role performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains equipment in working order. It also provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for patients as required or requested. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcome, and a commitment to learning is also valued.
Requirements
- Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital is located to practice respiratory care.
- Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Blood gas licensure is required if employed in the state of Nevada.
- For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, a high school diploma is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and desire to learn.
- At least one year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.
- An associate degree is preferred for hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases.
