About The Position

Provides respiratory care services to patients of all ages through invasive and noninvasive treatments and procedures. Educates patients, family members, and staff as needed. Assesses patients’ needs for care and makes recommendations to providers as appropriate. The position is based in Oconomowoc and is listed as 0.9 FTE on nights.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care.
• State of Wisconsin Respiratory Care License.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• More than 1 year of NICU or critical care experience.
• PALS certification.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential.

Responsibilities

• Administer invasive and noninvasive respiratory treatments and procedures to patients of all ages.
• Educate patients, family members, and staff as needed.
• Assess patient needs for respiratory care and make recommendations to providers as appropriate.
• Maintain continuing education requirements per NBRC guidelines.
• Maintain and complete intubation competencies for the Mukwonago location, if applicable.
