About The Position
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains equipment in working order. The practitioner also provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested. This is a 13-week nights assignment at $85 per hour; travel reimbursement is not provided.
Requirements
- Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital is located to practice respiratory care.
- Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Blood gas licensure is required if employed in Nevada.
- For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.
- An associate degree is preferred for hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases.
