About The Position

Performs diagnostic procedures including ECG, pulse oximetry, rhythm strips, and 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups. Hooks up and assists with stress testing and processes respiratory equipment as needed. Processes job-related paperwork and enters charges for procedures performed. Assists with timely and safe supply processing and equipment distribution. Requires attention to detail regarding patients, procedures, equipment, and supplies. The role requires flexible hours or shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Aptitude for working with mechanical devices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic environment under the direction of the RCA Supervisor and ALP.
• Ability and willingness to work with patients of all ages and developmental needs, including those with acute, chronic, complex, or terminal illnesses.
• Positive attitude toward healthcare team members and diverse patient populations.
• Evidence of good physical and emotional health.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an EKG course is preferred.
• Experience performing EKG, 24-hour Holter, and event monitoring is desired.
