About The Position
Provides respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Performs bedside diagnostic procedures as needed, reviews and maintains respiratory care plans, evaluates patients, and adjusts care appropriately. Assists as a preceptor for students and new hires.
Requirements
- Graduate of a respiratory therapy program.
- Must obtain entry-level certification.
- Must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
- Must hold a current State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners in the State where services will be provided.
- Must hold current CPR certification.
- Must have ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, or obtain them within six months from the date of hire or transfer, subject to the stated role and location exceptions.
- Must be able to be on call.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Stable preferred, but not required.
