This role serves as a Resource Team Manager for Inpatient Nursing Relief, operating within a Float Pool. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and is benefits-eligible. The manager will coordinate and manage all resources necessary to provide optimal nursing care, including staff availability, patient care supplies, and automated patient care systems. This includes maintaining optimal productivity through efficient staffing and scheduling, evaluating the quality of patient care, developing service strategies, and fostering effective relationships with various stakeholders. The role also involves facilitating evidence-based nursing practices, participating in shared governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies like The Joint Commission, and developing/communicating change initiatives. Additionally, the manager will assist with new service development, revenue generation, and marketing of programs. Human resources responsibilities include interviewing, selection, staff development, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Budget development and adherence are also key components of this role, along with upholding the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct. The position requires the ability to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles.
