This role is responsible for coordinating and managing all resources necessary to provide optimal nursing care, including staff availability, patient care supplies, and automated patient care systems. The position focuses on maintaining productivity through efficient staffing and scheduling, evaluating the quality of patient care, and developing service strategies to improve patient satisfaction. The Manager will also foster effective relationships with various stakeholders, facilitate evidence-based nursing practices, and participate in shared governance councils. A key responsibility includes ensuring department compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory bodies. The role also involves developing and communicating change initiatives, achieving care management targets, and assisting with the development of new services and revenue streams. Human resources responsibilities include interviewing, selection, staff development, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Financial responsibilities include developing and recommending budgets and controlling expenditures. The position requires adherence to the Aurora Health Care Code of Ethical Conduct and understanding of age-specific patient care needs.
