About The Position

The Goddard School® located at 50 Seaboldt Way Chester Springs, PA 19425 is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Resource Teacher to join our team! At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. As a Resource Teacher, you will collaborate with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement engaging educational programs and activities. This pivotal role includes classroom support, enhanced curriculum delivery and adapting dynamically to meet the evolving educational needs of our school community. This role is a good fit for someone flexible, dependable, and comfortable working with different age groups. Your day will vary. You might start in an infant room helping with bottles and diapering, then move to a toddler class for play and transitions, and later support a preschool room during an activity or outdoor time. You’ll cover teacher breaks, step in when extra hands are needed, and help keep classrooms on schedule. You’ll also help reset rooms, clean up between activities, and jump in wherever support is needed. Some days are predictable, others are not. The key is being flexible and ready to help wherever the team needs you.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable working with multiple age groups
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be active throughout the day

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with young children preferred
  • CDA or ECE coursework is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios, cover breaks, and support teachers throughout the day.
  • Work with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers depending on where the need is.
