About The Position

The Goddard School® of Chester Springs is hiring a full-time floater/ Resource Teacher to support classrooms across our school. This is a flexible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety in their day, works well with a team, and genuinely enjoys being around young children. You’ll move between classrooms, support teachers, and help keep the day running smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• 2 years working with children (babysitting included)
• Someone dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach with children
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
• Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain consistency and flow
• Help prepare and organize classroom materials
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
• Provide individual support to children to encourage engagement and inclusion
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
• Assist with daily routines and transitions throughout the day
• Communicate professionally with team members and families
