Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting is a plus.
  • Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing classroom needs.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to creating a nurturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Engage with children in play, arts, and educational activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
  • Adapt to various classroom settings and age groups as needed.
