The Resource Professional role supports the subvendor/supplier program, focusing on its day-to-day operations. This includes implementing and managing the requisition/submittal process, overseeing job placements, troubleshooting issues, and managing ongoing relationships and communication. The role is crucial for maximizing customer satisfaction, building relationships, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts. It involves establishing and developing relationships with hiring managers within assigned clients to ensure satisfaction and profitability of contractor/subcontractor placements. The Resource Professional also helps manage sub-vendor/supplier relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality of placements. They are responsible for understanding contracted terms and conditions, client rules of engagement, and processes. Additionally, they support account growth targets, train users on VMS software, and are involved in program expansion by identifying opportunities and communicating the value of the MSP and RP role. Presentation skills are important for communicating growth opportunities, training, and new business to clients and suppliers. The role requires sharing expertise by keeping the program team, suppliers, and sponsors informed, coordinating onboarding, extensions, and offboarding, and providing guidance on program guidelines and compliance. Establishing a working relationship with the PMO Director(s) and/or PM(s) and participating effectively in a team environment are also key aspects of the role.
