About The Position

This role is responsible for managing resource planning activities, including forecasting and staffing plans for the business. The administrator will utilize historical volumes to determine accurate daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts for staffing purposes and will report and analyze forecast to actual volume variances. The position involves using technology and resources to make recommendations for efficient and effective resource planning and scheduling, and creating staffing models based on forecasted volumes and available resources to maintain service level obligations. Additionally, the role provides scheduling support for all associate off-line activities, training, special projects, paid time off (PTO), e-mails, and problem resolution with input from Training, Team Leaders, and Managers. The administrator will monitor and report on intra-day adherence to the staffing model, reallocate resources based on client demand by monitoring real-time activity and service levels, and update skill assignments of multi-skilled associates to balance resources. This position serves as the primary business owner and point of contact for assigned internal departments, maintains effective work relationships, and keeps the supervisor informed of issues impacting the resource planning process. The role leads week-ahead and month-ahead discussions, providing analytical insight to business-specific and RIG Operations trends, and makes recommendations for maintaining, postponing, or cancelling off-line activities. The administrator acts as a first responder within the Conn during contingency events, generates a variety of standard and ad hoc reports for management, and works with the management team to establish, communicate, and analyze metrics for each business line. Participation in special projects and performance of other duties as assigned are also part of this role.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of two years related work experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving/resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with peers and management, and make sound recommendations under demanding conditions.
  • Strong quantitative and technical aptitude.
  • Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Access, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Independent, initiative driven, self-starter, and team player.
  • Strong people, leadership, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
