As a Resource Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting fundraising efforts and building meaningful relationships with corporate partners. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same-balancing relationship management, campaign coordination, event support, and data tracking. You'll work alongside a collaborative and supportive team while helping organizations engage their employees, give back to their communities, and make a lasting difference. Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in business, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive) and CRM systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building and maintaining professional relationships
  • Understanding of corporate social responsibility practices
  • Ability to track and analyze campaign data and performance metrics
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel frequently within the service area of Allegan, Kent, and Ottawa counties (valid driver's license and reliable transportation required)
  • Requires extensive periods of time at a computer.
  • Operating office equipment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, move up to 20lbs.
  • Moderate level of physical activity
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
  • Frequent travel to company client sites

Nice To Haves

  • Fundraising or donor engagement experience is a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of communities on the Lakeshore and connections in these regions, desired but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned corporate partners, building strong and lasting relationships while providing ongoing support.
  • Help plan and execute workplace fundraising campaigns, including developing strategies and coordinating materials.
  • Assist with donor communications, recognition efforts, and impact reporting.
  • Coordinate volunteer and engagement opportunities in partnership with internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate donor and campaign data within CRM systems, and track performance metrics.
  • Represent United Way at community events, networking opportunities, and corporate engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, Donor Engagement, Volunteer Center, and Community Impact.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support, including occasional front desk coverage.
