About The Position

Assists the Assistant Director of Client Services with daily operations at the Prestonwood Family Resource Center (“PFRC”).

Requirements

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry
• Pro-life in word and pro-love in action
• Passionate about the mission of Prestonwood Pregnancy Center (“PPC”)
• Willing to obtain National Child Passenger Safety certification and Application Assistance Navigator certification
• Bilingual; proficient ability to read, write and speak in English/Spanish
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products
• Possess current Texas driver license, personal vehicle insurance, and clear driving record for clearance to drive PPC van as needed
• Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance

Nice To Haves

• Flexibility to include approximately one evening per week, one Saturday per month, and PPC scheduled events

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and pick up local donations
• Supervise and participate in daily PFRC procedures, such as helping clients, restocking resources, and donations
• Manage inventory platform
• Assist in maintaining a visually appealing boutique appearance
• Recruit, interview, train and oversee PFRC volunteers
• Support the PFRC team with planning, decorating, and hosting staff, volunteer and donor appreciation events and tours
• Assist with the preparation and execution of PRFC events
• Provide client care through material needs assessments and referrals to community partners
• Offer opportunities for clients to build community through classes and groups
• Perform car seat safety inspections
• Oversee client check-in for in-person classes
• Other duties as assigned
