About The Position

The Resort Guest Room Attendant helps maintain Durango as an approachable luxury destination by providing clean, neat guest rooms and personalized, welcoming service. The role is part of the Housekeeping department and involves completing assigned room-cleaning work within allotted time, maintaining a tidy cart, and picking up rooms as occupancy requires.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form.
• Ability to reach a height of 6 feet and transport, push, pull, and maneuver a cart weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, walk, and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to tolerate chemicals, cleansers, and solvents.
• Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest rooms are clean and neat.
• Complete the daily assignment of guest rooms within the allotted time and perform general cleaning as assigned.
• Stock and maintain the cart in a neat, orderly manner at all times.
• Pick up rooms as needed based on occupancy.
• Deliver service with a personal touch and delight guests whenever possible.
