About The Position

The Resort Guest Room Attendant is part of the Housekeeping department at Durango and helps provide an approachable luxury destination with best-in-class hospitality. The role focuses on keeping guest rooms clean and neat, completing assigned work within the allotted time, and providing personalized service to guests.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form.
• Reach a height of 6 feet.
• Transport, push, pull, and maneuver a cart weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Climb, bend, reach, walk, and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Tolerate chemicals, cleansers, and solvents.
• Obtain all necessary work cards.
• Demonstrate the values of kindness, inclusiveness, forward-thinking, reliability, passion, and self-awareness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest rooms are clean and neat.
• Complete the daily assignment of guest rooms within the allotted time and perform general cleaning as assigned.
• Stock and maintain the housekeeping cart in a neat, orderly manner at all times.
• Pick up rooms as needed based on occupancy.
• Deliver service with a personal touch and seek opportunities to delight guests.
